The TRANFOVIA Pressboard Cylinder Cohesion Machine is designed for the final bonding stage in transformer insulation cylinder production. After the insulation pressboard has been beveled, rolled into an arc, formed into a cylinder and coated with adhesive, the cylinder is loaded into the machine for controlled heating and hydraulic pressing.
During bonding, the glued joint remains under uniform thermo-compression. This supports consistent cohesion quality for thick pressboard cylinders and shortens the bonding cycle compared with uncontrolled manual pressing methods.
The Pressboard Cylinder Cohesion Machine is used after pressboard beveling and rolling. It applies controlled heat and hydraulic pressure to the lap joint of the formed insulation cylinder, allowing the bonded area to cure under uniform hot-pressing conditions. This process improves joint consistency, shortens bonding time and prepares the finished pressboard cylinder for subsequent transformer insulation assembly.

It is used to heat, hydraulically press and bond a glued transformer insulation pressboard cylinder after the pressboard has been beveled and rolled into shape.
The standard range covers cylinder diameters from 270 to 3500 mm, heights from 1500 to 4000 mm and pressboard thicknesses from 1 to 8 mm.
The heating temperature is adjustable from 20 to 150 C, with temperature control accuracy of +/-2 C.
The system uses electrical heating with thermally conductive oil to transfer heat to the bonding area.
The machine uses hydraulic pressing with a system pressure of 12 MPa.
Yes. The standard bonding slope width is 150 mm and can be customized according to the approved cylinder-joint design.
The rolling machine forms flat pressboard into an arc or cylinder. The cohesion machine performs the following process step by heating and pressing the glued joint until bonding is completed.
