Pressboard Cylinder Rolling Machine

Cylinder Rolling Machine for transformer insulation pressboard with CNC control, stable rolling, and large-diameter cylinder forming.

Pressboard Cylinder Rolling Machine for Transformer Insulation Cylinders

The TRANFOVIA Pressboard Cylinder Rolling Machine pre-forms flat electrical pressboard into arcs and cylinders before joint bonding. Its upper and lower rollers, drive system, electrical controls and dedicated large-diameter support mechanism provide a focused solution for transformer insulation workshops rather than general metal plate rolling.

Applications

  • Transformer pressboard cylinder production. Pre-form flat insulation pressboard into arcs and cylinders for transformer insulation assemblies.
  • Large-diameter cylinder forming. Support and guide larger pressboard sheets during rolling.
  • Customized cylinder lengths. Standard workpiece length is1500-4000 mm and can be customized.
  • Pressboard cylinder production lines. Position the machine after bevel-edge preparation and before gluing, heating, pressing and joint bonding.

Main Features

  1. Three-roller driven structure. The roller arrangement supports continuous pressboard forming and stable transfer through the working area.
  2. Adjustable upper roller. Vertical movement allows the machine to be set for different pressboard thicknesses and target cylinder diameters; limit control supports repeatable positioning.
  3. Multiple operating modes. The control panel provides forward, reverse, jog, continuous rotation and roller-lowering functions for setup, correction and production rolling.
  4. Reducer, coupling and gearbox transmission. The upper roller is driven through the reducer and coupling and linked to the lower roller through the gearbox.
  5. Protected roller surfaces. Upper and lower rollers can be plated or coated with polyurethane to suit insulation pressboard handling requirements.
  6. Support for large-diameter pressboard. The dedicated support mechanism assists sheet handling and makes larger cylinder-forming work more practical.

FAQ

  1. What is a Pressboard Cylinder Rolling Machine used for?

It is used to pre-form flat transformer insulation pressboard into arc and cylindrical shapes before the cylinder joint is glued, pressed and bonded.

  1. What pressboard thickness can the machine process?

The stated processing range is 1-8 mm.

  1. What cylinder diameters are supported?

The stated cylinder diameter range is Φ300-Φ3500 mm.

  1. Can the machine produce long pressboard cylinders?

The standard workpiece length range is 1500-4000 mm, and the length can be customized around the project requirements.

  1. Is the standard machine CNC controlled?

The standard product description lists an electrical control panel with forward, reverse, jog, continuous rotation and roller-lowering controls. CNC control should not be claimed unless it is separately confirmed for the offered configuration.

  1. How is this machine different from a cylinder cohesion machine?

The rolling machine creates the curved cylinder form. The cohesion machine is used later to heat, press and bond the prepared cylinder joint.
