Product Introduction
A transformer assembly platform is an adjustable working platform used around a medium or large transformer during coil sleeving and upper-yoke installation. It allows operators to work at the correct height while low-voltage coils, high-voltage coils, insulation components and the upper core yoke are installed.
Unlike a fixed coil assembly platform, this design uses two independently movable frames arranged face to face. Each side can be repositioned vertically and horizontally to follow the transformer dimensions and the assembly stage.
Applications of the Transformer Assembly Platform
- Sleeving finished low-voltage coils over the transformer core limbs from the top.
- Sleeving high-voltage coils over the installed low-voltage coils.
- Installing the upper yoke after the coil assemblies are in position.

Main Features
- Independent vertical and horizontal adjustment. The two frames can move separately so each side can be matched to the transformer height, coil position and current assembly task.
- Motorized screw lifting system. The standard lifting arrangement combines an electric motor, worm gear reducer and lead screw for controlled platform elevation. Hydraulic cylinder lifting can be supplied as an alternative.
- Electrical and mechanical self-locking. Dual self-locking protection allows the working platform to stop securely at the selected height.
- Extendable working plates. Pull-out plates increase the usable working area near the transformer. Positioning pins secure the plates after extension.
- Ground and platform control stations. Control stations are installed at ground level and on the working platform. Interlocking helps prevent conflicting or accidental operation.
- Brake-type movement and lifting motors. Braking motors support controlled stopping during platform travel and lifting.
- Integrated tool power supply. Power sockets in the middle of the platform allow operators to use common electric tools without long temporary cables across the work area.
- Work-area lighting. Each end is equipped with a 150 W crank-arm lamp, with additional lighting below and above the worktable to improve visibility around the transformer assembly area.
- Polyurethane travelling wheels. The wheels provide the mechanical strength required for platform movement while reducing floor damage and static accumulation.
- Safety-critical component inspection. Components associated with safety requirements receive heat treatment and flaw detection.
