The TRANFOVIA LR Series Vertical Winding Machine is designed for large-capacity power transformer and reactor coil production, especially continuous and disc-type coils used in HV and UHV applications. The vertical configuration supports stable coil positioning, while the chuck-elevation structure allows the working height to be adjusted according to the coil geometry without repeatedly changing the operator platform position.
Depending on the workshop layout and production process, the machine can be supplied as a pit-type or over-floor system. Model selection and machine dimensions can be configured according to coil weight, winding diameter, lifting stroke, torque, conductor specification, and site conditions.

Q: What types of transformer coils are best suited for this vertical winding machine?
A: It is designed for large power transformer and reactor coils, especially high-voltage, ultra-high-voltage, continuous, and disc-type coils that require high load capacity, stable torque, and controlled vertical winding.
Q: How do I choose between pit type and over-floor type?
A: The pit type is generally preferred when a lower operating level and easier access around very large coils are required. The over-floor type is suitable when workshop floor modification is limited. Final selection should consider coil dimensions, operator access, workshop layout, and civil-work conditions.
Q: Which LR model should I choose?
A: The model should be selected according to maximum coil weight, winding diameter, required torque, lifting stroke, and production process. Rated load alone is not sufficient for final selection.
Q: How does the chuck-elevation system improve operation?
A: It allows the winding coil height to be adjusted according to the process while keeping the operator platform at a practical working position, reducing repeated platform adjustment and improving access to the winding area.
Q: Can the machine maintain accurate turn counting during forward and reverse rotation?
A: Yes. The electronic counter supports positive and reverse counting, enabling corrections during winding while preserving an accurate record of the coil turns.
Q: Can the machine be customized for our coil drawings and workshop?
A: Yes. Capacity, lifting stroke, plate diameter, machine layout, pit cover, electrical specification, control configuration, and auxiliary equipment can be adapted to the project requirements.
Q: Does the machine require a special foundation?
A: The pit-type configuration requires civil preparation based on the approved foundation drawing. The over-floor configuration reduces pit work, but the floor load, anchoring, operating height, and surrounding access still need to be verified.
Q: Can the machine be supplied with a winding mandrel and tension pay-off system?
A: Yes. The machine can be configured with an adjustable winding mandrel, tension pay-off stand, and other coil-handling or assembly equipment according to the winding process.
Q: What information should we provide for a quotation?
A: Please provide the coil drawing, maximum coil weight and dimensions, conductor specification, target speed, preferred installation type, workshop layout, power supply, and required accessories.
