The TRANFOVIA Pressboard Circular Shearing Machine is designed for circular shearing of transformer insulation pressboard, epoxy board, and sheets with comparable strength. It processes 1-3 mm thick material and is available for workpiece diameters from Ø300 mm up to Ø3000 mm, depending on the selected model. The machine is intended to produce smooth, flat sheared edges while supporting repeatable batch processing of circular insulation components.
Two operating versions are available: a conventional model and a CNC circular shearing machine. The CNC version adds tailstock repeat positioning capability, while both versions retain the same core circular-shearing function.
Within a transformer insulation processing system, this machine is used when pressboard or epoxy board must be cut into circular or annular insulation parts before subsequent machining, marking, assembly, or bonding operations. The conventional version is suitable when the required diameter is set mechanically and the rear-frame position is locked for batch production. The CNC circular shearing machine is more appropriate when repeated diameter settings are changed frequently or repeat positioning is a higher priority. For the CNC model, the tailstock repeat positioning accuracy is ±0.1 mm; no separate overall cutting-accuracy value is provided for the conventional version.
