


A large generator curing oven is a purpose-built thermal system for the insulation-paint curing process of generator stators and rotors. Compared with a general industrial oven, selection is driven by very large workpiece mass and geometry, trolley stability, air-distribution uniformity, exhaust safety and the need to monitor the curing condition of expensive generator components.
The HW series is primarily used for rotor and stator insulation-paint curing in large wind-turbine generators, hydroelectric generators and steam-turbine generators. The equipment can be engineered around stationary or rotating curing requirements and is intended for large electrical-machine components where loading stability, chamber airflow and process monitoring must be considered together.
The air-duct design and balanced recirculation airflow are optimized to improve temperature uniformity across large workpieces.
The accompanying trolley can be designed for loads up to 300T, with stable travel, thermal stability and sealing around the oven interface.
According to the process, the oven can be designed as a rotating baking/curing furnace for rotor or stator rotational curing requirements.
The exhaust configuration can be engineered to discharge gases generated during insulation-varnish curing in line with the drying procedure.
An advanced heat exchanger can use exhaust hot air to preheat incoming air, improving equipment energy utilization.
Flameproof motors reduce spark generation during motor operation and support the safety design for varnish-curing conditions.
The system can use HMI + PLC control with PID temperature regulation. Options include a programmable insulation resistance tester, paperless multi-point temperature recorder and industrial computer monitoring for remote networked operation.
