The TRANFOVIA Transformer Silicon Steel Slitting Line prepares electrical steel master coils for downstream transformer core lamination production. The listed equipment family handles silicon steel from 0.15 to 0.5 mm thick, master-coil widths up to 1250 mm, coil weights from 2T to 10T and slitting speeds up to 120 m/min.
Slitting is a longitudinal process. A wide electrical steel coil is divided into narrower strips along the material travel direction, and the finished strips are rewound for later use in cut-to-length or transformer core cutting operations. For transformer manufacturers, this allows a wide incoming coil to be prepared into the strip widths required by different core designs.
| Model | Master Coil Width | Coil Weight | Finished Strip Width | Thickness | Speed | Burr | Power |
| XE-ZJX-500-3T | 100-500 mm | 2T | 420-300mm | 0.15-0.5 mm | 0-120 m/min | ≤0.02 mm | 26 kW |
| XE-ZJX-1250-5T | 200-1250 mm | 5T | 40-1200 mm | 0.15-0.5 mm | 0-120 m/min | ≤0.02 mm | 55 kW |
| XE-ZJX-1250-10T | 200-1250 mm | 10T | 40-1200 mm | 0.15-0.5 mm | 0-120 m/min | ≤0.02 mm | 73 kW |
| Process Point | Silicon Steel Slitting Line | Silicon Steel Cut-to-Length Machine |
| Cut direction | Longitudinal – divides a wide coil into narrower strips | Transverse – cuts strip into individual lengths |
| Output | Narrow strip coils for downstream processing | Individual sheets or laminations |
| Key selection data | Master coil width/weight, finished strip widths, thickness, speed and rewinding | Sheet width, thickness, cut length and cutting accuracy |
The 5T and 10T models are listed for master coils up to 1250 mm wide.
The listed sheet thickness range is 0.15-0.5 mm.
The listed speed range is 0-120 m/min.
The listed family includes 2T, 5T and 10T coil-weight configurations.
The listed burr value for the three models is ≤0.02 mm.
Selection should be based primarily on your incoming master-coil width and weight, together with the required finished strip widths. The 5T and 10T models cover coils up to 1250 mm wide, while the 2T model covers 100-500 mm master-coil width.
No. The slitting line prepares narrow strip coils from a wide master coil. A transformer core cutting line then processes strip into individual core laminations with the required lengths and geometry.
Provide master-coil width, coil weight, ID/OD, silicon steel thickness, required finished strip widths, number of strips, edge/burr requirements, rewinding requirements and workshop electrical standard.
Based on the listed technical parameters, the cutting length accuracy can reach ±0.05 mm/m, and the cutting burr is ≤0.02 mm.
