Heavy Duty Transformer Coil Winding Machine for 2-3 Ton Coils

The TRANFOVIA Heavy Duty Transformer Coil Winding Machine is designed for factories where coil load, low-speed torque and mechanical stability determine equipment selection. It is available in 2-ton and 3-ton configurations for winding high-voltage and low-voltage transformer coils within the approved shaft, tooling and center-distance range.

Unlike automatic winding systems focused on conductor spreading or insulation feeding, this machine provides a robust spindle platform with mechanical gear selection and variable-frequency speed control. The 2-ton model delivers up to 2,000 N·m of torque, while the 3-ton model delivers up to 4,000 N·m.

2 Ton vs. 3 Ton Heavy Duty Coil Winding Machine

  • Select the 2-ton modelwhen the maximum winding load is within 2,000 kg, the required torque is within 2,000 N·m and the 1,000 mm standard shaft and 550-1,450 mm tailstock range fit the coil drawing.
  • Select the 3-ton modelwhen the winding load can approach 3,000 kg, torque demand can reach 4,000 N·m, or the production plan requires the 1,500 mm standard shaft and 1,050-1,950 mm tailstock adjustment range.

Main Features

Two load configurations. The 2-ton and 3-ton models allow the buyer to match the winding machine to the maximum approved coil weight and tooling load.

High low-speed torque. Maximum torque is 2,000 N·m on the 2-ton model and 4,000 N·m on the 3-ton model.

Two mechanical speed ranges. The low-speed range prioritizes torque and control, while the high-speed range supports lighter winding stages. Frequency control provides stepless adjustment within the selected range.

Adjustable tailstock. The center distance can be set to support different shaft lengths and coil axial dimensions.

Reversible turn counter. Forward and reverse counting with power-off memory helps retain the winding record after an interruption.

Compact machine footprint. Both models use a 3,850 mm long and 800 mm wide base, simplifying preliminary workshop layout planning.
